This year we will have 1 farm tour.
We love to show you our farm & for you to see how we farm regeneratively which includes how our animals are raised, how our land is managed & constantly improved, the organically grown gardens/ hoophouse & our conservation projects.
These tours will be limited to @ 15 people & last about 90 minutes. Please dress appropriately for the weather (bring water, wear closed toe shoes, a hat, dress in layers) - there will be a fair amount of walking involved depending on where the animals are in their grass rotation.
There is no charge for the farm tour, but please register by sending us your name & the number of people wanting to attend via our Contact Us page on this website or send a text to 440.313.4179. Thanks.
Dates for the 2025 Farm Tour
Time: 9 -10.30am
Saturday 13th September
After much discussion (me talking more than Scott!), we've decided to make some changes to how we run things around here next year - we want more time to enjoy our family, friends, dogs, livestock and the farm! The result is this –
· Beginning in February 2026 the farm store will be open on the 4th Thursday (9-5pm) and 4th Saturday (9-1pm) every month. The exact calendar dates we will be open will be listed on our website and posted on Facebook, Instagram, Google etc.
· We are moving mostly to custom orders (which means ¼, ½ or whole beef, lamb and pork). Ground beef boxes and chicken boxes will also be available to pre-order. Pick up for the 1/4s and boxes will be at the farm on the days we are open, larger custom orders will still be picked up from the butcher.
· We will still have chicken, lamb, pork, beef and eggs available to buy in the farm store, so you can expect to see ground beef, ground pork, ground lamb, hot dogs, burgers, bones, stewing chickens, sausage, slow cuts of meat etc. Eggs will be available until this new batch of layers stops laying. You will most likely not see any beef steaks (I’m sorry).
· We will continue to stock soaps, honey, maple syrup, dairy from Old Country Creamery, salami, microgreens, and extra organically grown fruits and vegetables grown on the farm when in season.
We understand that this may not work for all of you, and we would like to thank you for being wonderful customers over the last 12 plus years – we’ve enjoyed meeting all of you and hearing about/ being a part of your lives.
For those of you who are still interested in buying our meats, I will send out an email listing of what will be available in the farm store each month and availability of custom orders - you can send me a text (440) 313.4179 with your email address if you would like to receive it. I’m happy to answer any of your questions/ clarifications on these changes.
